Founded in 1969, Tekdata interconnections Limited is an established manufacturer of interconnection systems for all industries including aerospace, defence, transport, and medical systems.

Tekdata developed the Cryoconnect division to meet the increasing needs for reliable and flexible ULT assemblies that are sympathetic to evolving designs and performance requirements.

Cryoconnect organizes wires of all types including pure and resistance alloy wire, multicores, quads, triplets, pairs, singles, coaxial and fiber optics with and without primary and secondary shielding using high strength aramid fibres.

New Business Development manager
Wiring systems specialist Tekdata Interconnection Limited has appointed Roy Blake as New Business Development Manager Worldwide for the companyís Cryoconnect Division.

Roy, aged 58 has been with the company for 24 years and continues to be based at the companyís headquarters in Burslem, Stoke. Reporting to the managing director, his responsibilities include planning, managing, and developing new markets to build on the Cryoconnect Divisionís success since its implementation in 1967.

Royís appointment is the latest in the development of the Cryoconnect Division as it continues to build its team of engineers and technicians; a rigorous training program has been incorporated, involving both assembly and inspection practices to ESA (European Space Agency) approvals (ESS-Q20 ECSS-Q-70), to bolster the teamís skills in order to meet the exacting demands unfolding within the sciences associated with the cryogenics industry

Cryoconnect successfully achieved ëNASA Approved Supplierí status with JPL NASA, and has just completed delivery of flight qualified harnesses for the Herschel Space Observatory. NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in conjunction with the CSA presents: The 21st Space Cryogenics Workshop
This will be held from August 24-26, 2005, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.

Cryoconnect will be exhibiting and available to discuss interconnection issues and will have samples of system we've produced.
