Quality is a given, whether instruments are ground-based or sent millions of miles into space. Quality is not a luxury – it is a necessity.
Cryoconnect has processes and procedures in place to meet the highest and toughest standards imposed by organisations worldwide. This ensures that we meet stringent criteria in terms of;
reliability, maintainability, safety, design, design verification, validation, testing processes, verification of purchased product; product identification throughout the product's life cycle, product documentation, control of production process changes, control of production equipment, tools, and numerical control machine programs, inspection and testing procedures, methods, resources, and recording; corrective action; etc.
We hold certification for our quality management systems to AS9100 (Rev C) standard for design & manufacturing, as well as ISO14001 for our environmental management system.
All of our technicians are trained and certified to the ECSS-Q-ST-70-08 & ECSS-Q-ST-70-26 space standards for high reliability electrical connections.
All of our inspectors are also trained and certified for test and inspection to these ECSS-Q-ST-70-08 & ECSS-Q-ST-70-26 standards.
In addition we have our own certified external examiner and inhouse training instructor to the ESA-STR-258 level for the above standards.
